1. The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic has received
a grant from the International Development Association (IDA) No. H 212-KG and
the Government of Japan PHRD No. TF056324 toward the cost of the Water
Management Improvement Project, and intends to apply part of the funds to cover
eligible payments under the Contract KG/WMIP/Works-11/2009 for Rehabilitation
of Big Talas Canal (BTC). Bidding will be conducted according to the
International Competitive Bidding procedure and is open to all bidders from
eligible source countries as defined in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA
Credits,
May 2004.
2. The Project Implementation Unit of the Department of Water Resources of the
Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz
Republic invites sealed Bids from eligible bidders for the rehabilitation works
under the Contract KG/WMIP/Works-11/2009 for Rehabilitation of Big Talas Canal
(BTC) located: Kyrgyz Republic, Talas Oblast and consisting of the following
types of work;
Mechanical
Excavation of Ground;
Embankment Filling and Compaction;
Gravel and Sand Bedding;
Monolithic Concrete and Reinforced Concrete;
Assembling of Precast Reinforced Concrete;
Demolition of Reinforced Concrete and
Monolithic Concrete Structures;
Manufacture and Erection of Hydromechanical
Equipment and Steel Works (gates, frames, etc.);
Quarry Stone Lining with upper layer to be
placed with garreting;
Other Works.
3. Interested Bidders may obtain further additional information and check and
acquire the Bidding documents from 9:00 am to 17:00 am, local time, Monday
through Friday at the address below for a non-refundable fee of US$ 250 (two
hundred fifty) or its equivalent in Kyrgyz Som according to the rate of
exchange rate of the National Bank of the KR on the date of payment, or its
equivalent in a freely-convertible currency. Payment may be made by money

4. Bidders must prepare and submit its Bidding documents at the above indicated
address not later than 10:00 am local time, on 31 March 2009, at which time
they will opened in presence of the bidders who wish to attend. Late bids will
be rejected and returned unopened to the bidders. The Contract will be awarded
to the Bidder who has been determined as a qualified and who has offered the
lowest Bid price.
5. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 (ninety) days after Bid opening and
must be accompanied by bank guarantee of security in the amount of KGS 800,000
or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency.
6. Qualified domestic contractors will be eligible to receive a margin of the
preference of 7.5 % (seven and a half percent) in Bid evaluation.

Bosna i Hercegovina has
received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) toward
the cost of the Urban Infrastructure and Service Delivery Project, and it
intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the
contract for the procurement of necessary basic material for construction of
new fecal sewerage Sator-Poljice, no. Pale-ICB-18-G-07-3954BOS.
The JP “Vodovod i kanalizacija” a.d. Pale now invites sealed bids from eligible
and qualified bidders for Procurement of necessary basic material for
construction of new fecal sewerage Sator-Poljice. The delivery period is 60
days.
Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB)
procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA
Credits, May 2004, and is open to all bidders from Eligible
Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

Qualifications requirements include:
·(a) Financial Capability
The Bidder shall furnish documentary evidence that it meets the following
financial requirements:
--(i) The? Bidder must send authorized documents of annual business, that is
audited Financial Statements of the Company for last five years, the average of
which cannot be less than 500,000 Euro.
·(b) Experience and Technical Capacity
The Bidder shall furnish documentary evidence to demonstrate that it meets the
following experience requirements:
--(i) The Bidder must have been? established and in the business of producing
or selling similar type of the above mentioned goods for five years prior to
the deadline for submission of Bids.
--(ii) The Bidders shall provide detailed and verifiable evidences of?
satisfactory completion of not less than two contracts during the last 5 years
for supply of: 80 pieces of PEHD manholes DN 1000 mm and 4000 m PE sewage pipes with
DN not less than 200, including purchasers’ names, and contact details (phone,
fax, e-mails etc.).
A margin of preference for certain goods manufactured domestically shall not be
applied. Additional details are provided in the bidding documents.
A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested
bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and
upon payment of a non-refundable fee of BAM 250 or its equivalent in EURO. The
method of payment will be direct deposit at bank account mentioned below. The
